Hello!!
I have a Desktop PC. It is M. Windows XP Home Edition v. 2002 Service Pack 3. Computer is “Intel (R)” Pentium (R) 4 CPU 1.80 GHz. and 768 MB RAM.
Well, I have “Avast free”7.0.1474 program version installed. I have recently changed "Auto-update interval" to 120 minutes (within “Updates” tab). Before, I had the Auto-update interval in 240 minutes.I usually don’t have this desktop PC much time on. Anyway, despite having changed “Auto-update interval” to a lesser amount of time, Desktop PC shows 1 day delay in “Virus database update” in regard to current day.I have sometimes manually updated "Virus database update" in order for it to be equal to the current day. But, it has not worked.
What could be done??
Hi!!
I’ look tomorrow to my UI, to see what says about “Virus database update”.
I am Spanish and live in Spain. What difference of time does have Prague regarding to “GMT” (or Greenwich Mean Time??.
Hello!!
Well, yesterday in the evening problem solved.
I turned on my computer and soon after, a pop-up windows on the right corner in “Notification area” displayed. It was “Avast” window informing that “Virus database” had just been updated. It showed in the window 12-12-03 .
Anyway, after that, I looked in my UI, on main antivirus interface window ( The main window). There, there are some data preceded by a colon. In the 2nd or 3rd line you can read: “Virus definitions version: 121203-0”.
Well, I have looked at the map in "Wikipedia". It seems that Prague is in the same time zone as Spain.
I haven’t read all the article. Which is the difference if it is summer or winter time??
