I really love this program 
I used AVG previously and found that it often didn’t update or didn’t have any updates which made me jittery. Avast is ten times better and I know I can surf in safety in the knowledge I am fully covered! Long may it last.

As one ex AVG user I couldn’t be happier with avast (20 months now), much more configurable, flexible, not to mention update (a real pig when you managed to connect to it) than AVG ever was.
Hi Bugazoid, as you can see from my signature I thought enough of avast! to pay for it,but also use the free version on another computer.I am a former norton user myself.Come back any time you can and help others.
