Found ‘24x7 Help’ installed on a friend’s PC.
Anyone know anything about this crowd?

I called their toll free# since there aren’t any prices available on the website.
It may not be iYogi but certainly sounds like them…
One time fix $99.00 and, they’ll even give you Microsoft Security Essentials FREE for LIFE. (aren’t they generous.)
For their 24/7/365 unlimited service, the price is a mere $239.00 and covers you for an entire year.

Tell your friend to come here and ask his questions and we’ll do it for FREE 24/7/365

The problem with most of such applications or sites that offer that kind of help for large amounts of monetary gain is that they are invasive and as long as you are using their paid-for service, they can go in & out of your computer with freedom to collect whatever information they want.

If you trust such people and have the personal information & money to loose, then go for it.
But, you have been warned.
As Bob has already suggested, it would be much better to get rid of such things and come here for Completely FREE help when needed.

There’s a similar crappy service advertised in the USA called “My Clean PC” that offers much the same … and there have been others in the past. They make millions from the gullible & unknowing.
