2830891.exe which cannot be solved by avast...

C:\Windows\system32\2830891.exe
Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}
when i delete it ,avast tells me that system doesn’t support such kind of compressed file …
when i try to upload it , avast tells me fail to compress it …

How about sending it to the virus chest (quarantine)? You can also upload it to http://www.virustotal.com to see if it’s a FP or not.

If it’s not, try running a boot-time scan with avast (if you’re not running vista x64) to see if it can get rid of it then.

If not, try malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org or SAS from http://www.superantispyware.com

If all that doesn’t work, you should try HiJackThis and post a log for us. (I doubt you’ll need to go that far, so I didn’t even post a link to it, but google is your friend if you need to find it).

Oh well, I’m up waaaaay too late from trying to fix a problem at a client’s office remotely, and I need to hit the sack. Going to be a cruddy day tomorrow.

Good luck!

Try this. Run Advanced File Remover, select this problematic file and click Remove. That should do the trick.

RejZor, is that similar to the “Unlocker” program (just for my curiosity)?

I guess I could download and install it though, and find out for my own lazy self… ;D

Well, i made it myself for my needs. I guess it works in a similar way, just much easier to use.
Wizard style interface.

That’s fine. I just wanted to know if it was just accomplishing a similar function.
