A router is NOT a substitute for a software firewall ; I strongly encourage
you to put Sygate back on your computer. It is most easily downloaded
from www.filehippo.com/download_sygate_personal_firewall/ ; it should
be configured according to the "Setup Guide" at
www.kotiposti.net/string/SPF_eng/SPFGuide.html .
I doubt you have "viruses", but something more serious. Do you have any
antiSPYWARE/antiTROJAN program(s), such as the "Trial" version of
AVG Antispyware from www.ewido.net and/or the FREE version of
SUPERantispyware from www.superantispyware.com on your computer ?
These 2 are most often recommended by malware-fighting Experts .
