I recently had a huge problem with my computer. I am actually not even on mine, with this product. I did the usually service updated from windows. Then I get a black screen. Thought maybe it was my Monitor, but i changed it out. Was not the Monitor. I had to take it to GeekSquad. Turns out i have 30 viruses.

Now I have to reinstall my operating system.

Plus I just spend $40.00 on Avast

Can you try and describe the full sequence of events a little differently, perhaps?

Which are the file names and paths, at least some of them? The virus name?
Was avast updated? Did you buy it from a legit reseller?
