I currently use the 4.7 version and I am considering updating to the 4.8 version. However, I am concerned that the additional security features of the 4.8 version will clash with some of my existing security software.
These being:
Comodo Pro Firewall; Panda Anti-rootKit; Spyware Terminator Anti Spyware; Ad-Aware 2008 (free version) & Spyware Blaster.

I’m using Comodo Pro Firewall, Comodo Memory Firewall, Ad-Aware 2008, SUPERAntispyware and Spyware Blaster with avast! v4.8, and I have no problems at all…so I am sure all will work just fine for you also
