This may be a beta-only glitch but I discovered that if you check the ‘push iAVS box (couldn’t it be greyed-out in avast! Home anyway?), instead of letting you know that this feature is unavailable, a large plain-colour menu box appears on the screen and the OS (95OSR2) locks, no mouse, no keyboard response, no nuttin’ :cry: Reboot required.

If you try to switch from Simple into Enhanced UI (from Simple UI menu) - does it behave the same?

I think I found the problem for the empty rectangle (incorrect description in MS docs :-). However, I’d say it was there since the release of the Arabic version of avast!, i.e. since 4.7.1029 - July 28th, 2007.

I’m not sure if the freeze is connected, however - it didn’t reproduce here… well, you’ll see in the next build.

You can test the latest beta (4.8.1185), it should have the Igor’s change already in it.
