5.0 - Web Shield service disappears after every reboot!

Every time I reboot my laptop, the Web Shield service disappears from Computer Management and I have to do a repair install to get it back again! Any ideas please?

My PC and netbook don’t have this problem though, rather frustrating ???

Running 5.0.418 on all 3 computers.

repair your copy of avast
if dont work uninstall and install from scratch
dont work tell us :wink:

Thanks, I suppose a reinstall would have been my next option to try!
