5.1.864 stops Greeting card factory delux 8

Hi,

I upgraded to Avast version 5.1.864 on my wife’s laptop and her card making software stopped working, its Greeting card studio deluxe 8. Clicking the icon just does nothing. I tried adding the program to Avasts behaviour shield exclusions, disabling the behaviour shield but neither worked, I then removed Avast 5.1.864 and installed the previous version, everything now works as it should.

I looked in the greeting card installer directory and found it has a dotnetfx35 installer in it and after reading some of the posts here I wonder if this could be the cause of it, dotnex and Avast not working together ?

Just to add, we use some other card making programs and they work just fine with 5.1.864, its just this one that doesnt :frowning:

Why are they not labeled as 5.1.874 ???
