Your post is a little thin on information and most crucially the process responsible (post this in your next reply) for the attempted connection.
I think it is similar to one from yesterday that I replied to, check this out and if the process involved is similar the name may be different but the format/style (random) and location should be the same. e.g. this example of the process responsible in the topic C:\USERS\ADRY\APPdata\Tocal\Temp\dat6248.TMP.EXE
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=76126.msg629529#msg629529
If so start following the instructions I gave there and report in this topic, don’t post in the other one it will just confuse matters.
Sorry for the information.
i did follow your guide. i saw it this morning.
can you give me a newbie guide to fix it ?
thank you
Sorry, that was the newbie guide I can’t break it down any further, take it a step at a time and it isn’t so daunting.
Crucially answer any questions, like that I asked about the process responsible. We ask questions to get a better idea of what is going on, without answers we are working in the dark.
As was requested of the other topic’s originator, post information on the results of scans, information is everything, without it it is guesswork.
C:\USERS\ADRY\APPdata\Tocal\Temp\dat6248.TMP.EXE
i tried looking at mine. the folder is empty
Looking at the folder isn’t a great deal of help, as that was an example I gave you of the other topic, you have to state what avast was saying is the Process responsible for the connection attempt, the one that is in the alert window.
