A few programs in the back ground can not hurt me

I am really tired of seeing the message “There are 20 programs running that are slowing down your pc”
Big deal I mean who cares. The three main offending programs ( Yes I looked) are programs I use nearly daily if not more than 4 times a week.
I have a gaming computer with 4 gig graphics card sure slow by todays standards but faster than what I started with ( The Voodoo2 (or Voodoo2) is a set of three specialized 3D graphics chips on a single chipset setup, made by 3dfx. It was released in February 1998 as a replacement for the original Voodoo Graphics chipset. The card runs at a chipset clock rate of 90 MHz and uses 100 MHz EDO DRAM, and is available for the PCI interface. The Voodoo2 comes in two models, one with 8 MB RAM and one with 12 MB RAM. The 8 MB card has 2 MB of memory.

My 24Mbit internet connection far outpaces the 9600 baud connection I started with.

I mean if you people are really concerned over slowing PC,s then well I dont know.

The speed of my computer is normal and I dont notice any slowing down .
Funnily enough the one program that does slow me down is my Antivirus it has its fingers in every program I have installed or wont let me access pages I have had a long interaction with,I have had antivirus programs tell me the games I have played for 10 years are riddled with malware and hacks and that is prolly true as there are cheaters in games everywhere.

But I am tired ohso tired of my Antivirus telling me what I can and cant do where I can and cant go.

The role of my antivirus is to protect my computer from the malwares and hackers who would seek to penetrate my privacy. Not to stop me from going where the malwares and the hackes are hiding. As there are many interesting peoples and informations to be found in the jungle of life as well as the criminals.

Well, in short - the ads are basically ‘the price to pay’ for the free version.
