I am avast home user for some time now (since 4.6?). It´s without any doubt the best free antivirus and right up there with the best. And of course multiple rewards confirm this. So congratulations and thank you very much for offering us such a quality and complete free antivirus for a home user.
I just hope you don´t rush on avast 5. Alwil is known for releasing quality software and I am sure it won´t be any different with avast 5.
And about the questions…I wanted to know the following things:

will we be able to update from 4.8 home to 5 free trough program update or it will require uninstallation of 4.8?
I will uninstall 4.8 on my computer and install version 5 so it won´t represent any problem to me, but I know some people who usually ask me for help, so thats why i am asking this question. -
what are the differences between 4.8 and 5 home/free. Any new stuff included in version 5? Anything removed? Can avast 5 free be configured, so it can automatically remove malware to chest or is it still required that you click on action when virus is found?

Is avast 5 completely rewritten or is it evolution over 4.8 or in other words improved 4.8

Are detection rates of version 5 similar, lower or better compared to version 4.8

and the last question (for now)…what do alwil team plan in the future? Any new software beside antivirus/suite. Like some sort of standalone system cleaner or anything like that.
