Hi! I’ve come to post here too. ::slight_smile:

Just to save you snoops the trouble, I’m a spammer at Comodo (or that is what they call me), former (sort of) fanboy (I now see more of CIS’s faults), and I also joined MalwareTips.com too. So I can tell you the whole referring thing is just a small competition among ourselves…we don’t get anything besides a good feeling about it.

BTW, I’m also members at different forums too. Not just these two.

MalwareTips.com isn’t really affiliated with Comodo or its forums. Many of the members came from it, and this is one reason we were inviting people here: To get a more balanced forum community. And, of course, you all acted with suspicion and insults. Way to go! :stuck_out_tongue:

(Note: I love sarcasm. Don’t take anything above too seriously.)

Hmm…so is this like the reign of terror? “All dissenting opinions shall be locked away and never see the light of day.” (I’m a poet too, dontcha know)

Since I’m from Comodo forums…I generally see that dissenting opinions are allowed. In fact, plenty of the users don’t use CIS. They just like the community. However…others who come in and insult Comodo are quickly put down.

It’s like a reflex reaction…they are so used to people saying how bad Melih and CIS are, so if anyone is calling names and being offensive…they react (sometimes a bit offensive too). But reasoned and cool posts, even if critical, are (generally) accepted. You see that a great deal in the bug reports.

Edit: I just thought of something. My password to this forum was sent to me via email in plain text. Any reason for that?
