Gmail allows you to create a draft email for those thimes when you want to use something more than once.
In most instances when you delete something in your emails, it winds up in the trash and can be recovered.
When you delete a draft, it’s G O N E :‘( :’(
There are many who think that deleting a draft should wind up in the trash like all other emails you delete.
I’m now one of those believers… :‘( :’(
Gee Bob you’ve been screwed learning the hard way…oooh well never mind you’ve learned you’re lesson today I’m sure it won’t happen again ;D…I hope :-[
Uh…I knew that. ROFL ;D ;D
I didn’t find it very funny at all.
Sorry Bob. :-X
The same thing happened to me quite a while back. I had just finished a long and very important email which I did needed to keep the draft.
I just clicked “send” without saving the draft. I then invented a whole new language. I was not happy. Like you I learned the hard way.
Hi Bob and Para-Noid,
The way of the Jedi you shall learn, young Padawan.
If you hit the send button, then you still have access in your sent email folder.
If you hit the delete button, on a draft, you have nothing, it’s gone. No recourse and no recovery.
