Using 180 malware samples, I run an on-demand scan using both programs. Windows Defender able to detect 55 out of 180 malware files while [b]Spybot-S&D performs poorly by only detecting seven out of 180.[/b]
OK, so Spybot is 88% less effective than (already very ineffective) Windows Defender. Stop wasting your system resources with this one and spare yourself the perpetual conflicts of avast! and other real security tools with this poorly coded dinosaur. ;D :
I’ve been saying it all along as well because we troubleshoot the people with conflicts with other security software not to mention that it doesn’t work as well as other products already mentioned.
