I noticed that as I start Inernet Explorer the Script Blockong module starts. However, when I start Firefox (formerly known as Firebird) it does not. There are three browsers in the Script Blocking settings (IE, Netscape, Mozilla). Since Firefox is basically Mozilla, I am wondering why the module does not start when I launch Firefox.
And another question: Does Opera not need Script Blocking?

Well, the question doesn’t stand whether it is needed, I’m afraid - but rather if it can be done at all. Even for IE and Netscape, Script Blocking is quite a big hack - and Opera has a monolitic design that doesn’t make this kind of tricks possible
This answers the first question as well - even though Firefox may originate from Mozilla, there has been some changes probably; therefore, the Mozilla Script Blocker module won’t work here.
faffy, sorry using your forum ;D
Igor, does the Script Blocking works in programs like MyIE2 browser?

No idea… why don’t you try?
I’m trying but I don’t see the ‘splash screen’ and the ‘detailed information’ near to the system tray…

If the splash-screen doesn’t appear (and it is set to), then it probably doesn’t work with MyIE2. You would see the “Last scanned” items in the resident protection control window…
Nothing
