I have no idea how ‘‘forums’’ work but what I would like to know is simple(?) …

How do I ‘‘Turn Off Avast’’ when I am recording (making a disk)? - Sorta tired of uninstalling Avast and then reinstalling when I am done (nothing runs - that I can stop when making a disk - learned to do that the hard way - grin, too many ruined disks) …

If anyone knows I’d appreciate a reply to Aputer16@aol.com Subj: Avast (as I said above - I don’t understand forums - yet) …

There should not be a need to turn off avast while recording to a cd or dvd. What problems are you experiencing that makes you want to turn off avast?

By the way, you should never post your email on a public forum unless you enjoy receiving spam email.
There are spam bots that crawl through forums looking for email addresses.
