a trojan in system files

Hi I just began using Avast and my computer has two files I was relunctant on deleting because I wasn’t sure if they were important files that maybe system files. they are currently in the chest.

files Location infection
A0314717.exe C:\system volume information win32.trojen-ge

adrhelpr.exe C:\windows win32.adware-ge

Should I delete these files and do i need too do a boot scan and if so how do I start it? thank you.

i do the boot time scan my scheduling it… try this>>> right click on the tray icon of avast the click start avast antivirus…
after the scanning of memory is done you’ll see the avast interface.
then click on the menu tab, a drop down menu will appear choose schedule boot time scan
but if the memory scanner detect a virus in the memory, it will suggest a boot time scan.
to this you must be logged on with administrative rights or you’ll get an error message about
not having the privileged to reboot the machine of some sort, just reboot it manually…
and the schedule of boot scan will take place…
i also suggest that you keep those files in the chest, it will not do any harm if those are really a virus but are in the chest… [try to repair the file]

deleting is not the best option when you’re unsure… you can move the file to chest and you’ll do better
