if you right click the avast tray icon there is a “show last pop-up” then click the pin in top right corner of the pop-up, this will pin it to the screen…
Yes, this is possible. I experienced this in Google search. I don’t remember exactly the malware name, but if I am not incorrect, the name of this threat was HTML:Iframe or something similar to this.
This only happened to me with Google.com.pr

i use avast free as my active AV, comodo firewall as my active firewall + sandbox, comodo cleaning essentials, malwarebytes, hitman pro 3.5, ccleaner and superantispyware. all up to date. as you can see i use firefox as my default browser.
also when i get a popup like that does avast get a report of it so they can see it?
Don’t worry sirMAXXX. avast! just blocked a malicious picture in Yahoo! results. This is normal.
