I was watching a video from Hulu, and I must have accidentally clicked on a advertisement from “Progresso”. I looked up at my tabs and there was 3 that said “Progresso”. I just canceled them out.
But after I got done watching the video from Hulu, I updated my MBAM and then did a quick scan. Here’s my results:

I seen something at the bottom of my internet screen say “Adware.ALOT” as well. (Where it tells you the URL’s when you hover your cursor over a link and where it says “Done” when a website finishes loading)
I’m not really worried about this, but how can I be sure that this is really removed?
Should I do a Thorough scan do make sure I don’t have anymore viruses?
Can you really get a virus from a Hulu commercial? Because I seen the “Adware.ALOT” on the bottom of my internet screen right before the commercial loaded (As in, before the commercial showed up on the video screen).
Or maybe I just found out that I had a virus because I updated MBAM? Is that possible?
What does “Updating” MBAM and Avast really do?
Thanks in advance.
