a virus is blocking me to start avast scaning

hello everyone

for two three days i cant start scan with avast

a pop up is coming to say i need to put my password but when i do its not working

and its the same for everything i try

even if with the good password i logg in easily in my account

i tried spybot hitman etc but nothing

eset detected some things but its not working to erase it

any one has a key for that ?

Just wondering if you’ve tried selecting “Boot-Time Scan” This is nearly always the method I use with Avast. Select it, then shut down and reboot the computer and the scan will start automatically before Windows is launched. It’s a LONG scan, at least an hour or more.

apparently this virus or malware is changing the password also of windows and others programs when i try to connect

I don’t know if Sass Drake has any plans for the Holidays or not - but he’s usually fairly responsive.

You have Bitdefender Agent installed. Please uninstall it and report situation after that.

So you are saying that after doing what @Sass Drake suggested it still does not work ? (you did reboot after uninstall bitdefender)

yes exactly

i rebooted and nothing changed

i downloaded bitdefender online in order to try to erase that problem but somehow this program blocked the full download of bitdefenders

i catched that going one a streaming website of tv shows

finally with eset smart security he detected the program that is fucking all but even with the premium version he cant take it down

its inside the program

c:\Program Files\ AVAST software\avast\avastSvc.exe

That sounds like a FP. Test the file at VT (https://www.virustotal.com) and post the link to the result here.

so i erase all the other anti virus

restart my computer and still i dont have access to avast

i think its the win32/Avast.cleanup that is fucking all

each time i try to tocuh avast a pop up appear and ask me for the password

and when i put it it says wrong one
