Hi Neron
You can try to add the file to the exclusions list . This way you will be able to upload the file to Jotti and to make a rar
Neron, check again with 534-1 VPS database. A lot of false positives have been corrected in this last version.
If it persists, follow XMAS’ advice 8)
Why can’t you check it at Jotti?
If it is in the chest you will need to restore the file from the chest, it can’t be uploaded or scanned by Jotti in the chest.
Edit: If not corrected by the latest VPS today.
In any case send it to avast, there is another thread with an Uninstal.exe file being detected (not CounterStrike), so avast may see somthing suspicious in uninstal routines.
If you are getting a virus warning that you believe is a false positive, then if you can zip and password protect (‘virus’, will do) the suspect file and send it to virus @ avast.com (no spaces).
Give a brief outline of the problem, the fact that you believe it to be a false positive and include the password in the body of the email. Some info on the avast version and VPS number (see about avast {right click avast icon}) will also help.
Or you can send it to avast from the chest.
Its fixed in the latest vps!
