), the mountain of tax dollars people paid in that are simply gone before they ever paid in, when they are supposed to be there waiting when they are needed.
It is our job to hold them accountable, Bob. You can try and blame the politicians, but really, we elect these wishy-washy wimps who wont take a hard stand on anything because thats how we like it. Much like if children were to elect a nanny for day care, who would they choose?

I used to get irritated at global perceptions of my country as spoiled children driving an expensive yacht around a bay, with no regard to the wake they created and how it affected others. But the proof is undeniable. It is a pretty sad example we set with such behavior.
we are lucky over here, we put all the oil money in a fund for as long as there is something to pump…but i guess this is only a small dropp for Uncle Sam
