yesterday is the first anniversary of the passing away of my beloved mom :cry:
she had a heart condition and died at 52 years old…
I did not post the news at that time, and as the time passed it became aimless to do so :-
considering that I’m her only son, it was so hard for me - and of course for my dad - to lose her at such age…
rest in peace mom. till we meet in heavens

My condolences to you, I know some of what you feel, My Mother died in 1982, she was also 52.

My condolences to you and your family also. My father, too, passed away at a young age (54); although that was 25 years ago, the memory of that difficult time remains.

Mina, I don’t remember that I’ve read this before… Maybe this happens when I had already announced my disease at the first time, so, we did not talk about your beloved mother. Sure you’ll find her in heavens again, you and your father too.

Hi Minacross,

Your mother lives on as long as she is remembered. When where she has gone is the same as where we came from before we were born as that felt like the unity with all there is, was and will be, in that case we have nothing to be afraid of. This is a simple but comforting thought, that brought me much peace of mind. My mother left me in 1988. Live every day to the full, and live one day at a time. I wish you strength,
