Abnormal termination of Avast! 6.0

Hey i am using avast 6.0.From the time i installed avast 6.0 I am facing a problem. If I scan my pen drive avast detects the virus and when i try to delete those files (or try to move those files to virus chest) avast hangs up and TERMINATES itself abnormally.Because of this my Windows also hangs up. Faced this issue 5-6 times in last 1 month. I was not having this problem when i was using avast 5.x. Is everyone using avast 6.0 more or less facing the same problem ??

What could be the solution to overcome this problem ??

I suggest you schedule a boot time scanning and click Settings, adding the pendrive to the scanned items.
