About Avast PC version scannining devices

Hello, just a simple question… Is avast PC version is able to scan and detect Android virus on devices (android ones, obviously :P)?

Avast have signatures for android malware, and i think it can scan the storage area on the phone
Not sure if it can scan apps on phone
