I read a message posted about DCOMbobulator, and used it to disable my DCOM because since I downloaded avast! Home 4.5 I´m getting Network Shield warning “DCOM Exploit on 135”.

I did the test on DCOMbob and disabled it, but I keep getting the Network Shield Warning. Why is it happening even when the DCOM was “disable” by DCOMbob?

The attacks come from outside your system. Disabling the Dcom service on your system is really not gonna stop that unless you disconnect from any network or make sure there are no infected systems in the entire universe.
