About Reboot

Hi!

I’m creating a new deployment task to install Avast Professional on our client pc. I’ve just created the workstation install package where I’ve choosen the NET Client software.

In the REBOOT part of the deployment window I have these options to choose from:

-don’t reboot
-ask the user (in grey so unable to select)
-automatically reboot after 30 seconds
-reboot immediately

Why cannot I select the ASK THE USER option?

This is because the “Ask the user” option is only available if the agent is already running (=> installed) on the machine.

And since you’re just installing it - it’s not there yet.
