Couldnt log in so followed the tip with link and it worked.
My one concern over the forum is, my eye my eye.
Im blind in one eye and the forum is wayyyyy too white/bright for me.
Is there any way of adding a dark theme option like a lot of forums have which will be way less eye strain on my remaining one eye.
Apart from that all looking good so far, so well done on the upgrade.
There is a problem that is driving time served and experienced users to pull their hair out - in the This Needs Avast Attention topic.

There are many Evangelists and Uber Evangelist that are classed as Basic Users. Logically this should never happen. Having been time served and contributed in the old forum
BUMP, Nudge, Jostle, Shove Time Served Senior Avast Users still as Basic Users
This impacts their ability to post and help other Avast Users coming to the forums seeking help.
I seem to notice even less interaction on this new format than we had on the old Forum. Was this whole merger just a numbers game? What happened to customer service? Sorry to be so harsh but . . . .
Put the forum in BLACK mode
This must NEVER be a forced option, but a choice.
This forums layout I feel would look even worse as the actual content width is small. Adjusting the content width would reduce the wasted space in whatever background colour.

Is dark (BLACK mode) something I, as a visitor, can do to make the site easier on my eyes? Perhaps somewhere hidden in my profile properties?
No, it isn’t an option, but a suggestion in the hope that.
A: it gets rid of so much white space more room for text, making it less white space borders.
B: the forum have more than one option, with a dark mode option.
Neither of which have been implemented.
