You can send suspicious files to virus@avast.com
Put the file in a password protected archive and mention the password in the body of the email. Usually the password is virus or infected.
I don’t know what the reaction time is. I sent a couple of days ago a suspicious file, but no response, or detection.

All this viruses i’ll have check at virustotal.com. and avast wasn’t in report
