ABSOLUTELY CONFOUNDING, ANNOYING POPUPS

I have a half-dozen computers here, all running Avast Free, some have had it installed for years, some just a few weeks.
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is inundated, multiple times per day, with your RIDICULOUS “AVAST IS IN SILENT MODE” popup.
I have Silent mode, all popups suppressed.

No, I am not reinstalling avast on all these machines.
No, I have not changed anything.

WHY IS THE SOFTWARE DOING THIS???
Most annoying “feature” I have ever seen, since the Microsoft Clippy thing anyway.

STOP THIS!
STOP IT NOW!

The entire POINT of Silent Mode is to STOP BOTHERING me with useless, annoying pointless popups.

I have had this Covid-19 SCAM notification once and once only.

Obviously you would get it on all computers that you have Avast installed, but not multiple times per system.
As far as I’m aware this scam notification is pushed to all avast installations, including the paid versions.

That’s correct David as I received said notice on both Paid Versions installed, But only once as you stated

Indeed. I’ve only got it once and that’s it.

I was not and am NOT referring to nor asking about the COVID notification.

What I AM demanding Avast STOP is the MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY ON EVERY MACHINE I USE notifying me I have Avast set in silent mode.

This is the image I see, everyday, many times a day, on every computer.

It would have been handy had you posted that image in your first post, as there had recently been notifications and a few posts about the Covid-19 Scam popup.

Unfortunately the in program ads/popups are the price of Avast Free. Each installation is treated the same, not collectively.

Silent, A.K.A. Gaming Mode only function when full screen programs are running. So were you running a full screen game ?

Where you see that number 1 on the Red circle background on the Notification area in your image. If you were running a full screen program, the avast tray icon should change to indicate you have a notification, that you can look at or dismiss later.

I rarely see any Avast in program Ads and I don’t use Silent Mode either. I have been using Avast Free for some considerable time, I don’t know if that is a possible reason or not. Obviously new users they are likely to get promotions for other avast paid programs, going down to a lower volume.

STILL GOING ON!

AND YES, interrupting FULL SCREEN GAMES!
Just about done with this BULLSHIT!

Hi, see if it helps to run the game/app in DND mode.
