My Avast version is updated to the newest one as far as I can tell. I ran the smart scan, and no browser threats, no malware, etc., but at the “privacy risks” stage, one of the risks found was: “Your location is exposed: Marseilles”
Now, seeing that I’m in North America, and Marseilles is in France, can someone please explain what’s going on?
You had a VPN when the pop-up appeared? It was connected to a server from France? That’s why probably Avast said that you’re in France.
As far as I know, I’m not on a VPN. I don’t have the Avast one, and I’m not running any other one, either.
