Tried this AM to access a site I’ve been going to without problems, and received this message: Access denied. Your IP address is blacklisted. If you feel this is in error please contact your hosting provider’s abuse department.
I’m inexperienced, to say the least, and have no idea how to proceed. I suspect I may have been targeted by a hacker through Disqus. Can someone please help me figure out how to proceed?
Supplying it IP address in question might be helpful.
VPN IP: 212.102.33.75
Are you using SecureLine? If so, which site is blocking your connection?
Yes, I am, and the site I’m being blocked at is Def-Con.com. And thank you!
I’ve alerted Avast let’s see if that helps.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the assistance. I sure hope they can fix it.
Have you tried using a different location?
Hi Bonnie,
if the web site is intentionally blocking an access from the VPN gateways, the options are either to contact the website support and convince them to modify the rules, or to disable the VPN for the time when you are accessing the web site. There’s planned an update of the Smart VPN mode of Avast SecureLine, in which you could whitelist the web as trusted to disable the VPN automatically for you.
Best Regards,
Martin
No, I don’t have another to use.
I’m sorry to be a bother, but how do I temporarily disable my VPN?
See if this helps,
