I have this problem after i finish memory scanning. Should i go to safemode and scan again?

This is what looks like Windows Defender signatures unencrypted in memory.

The reason for the error is you can’t move a memory location to the chest.

It also looks like you have been tweaking your scan settings not knowing the impact that that tweak might have. This issue normally comes about when you check the Ignore virus targeting option in the file system shield, sensitivity section.

I have Windows Defender. Is that why I am getting this kind of things too? I allow Firewall to go through Windows Defender. Do I need to disable the firewall for Windows Defender?

Without posting the information about the detections is isn’t possible to say. One thing I can say I doubt it has anything to do with allowing windows defender in your firewall.

Also read my post about the Ignore Virus Targeting, if you enable that then it is likely to detect these signatures in memory.

In general, any security application can load some signatures (fragments of malicious code used to detect the real threats) into memory - they are located in data segments (instead of executable code). With "Ignore virus targeting" option enabled avast! can detect these harmless fragments. These items in scan results are not the files but the virus is detected in memory allocated to security_program_name.exe process - because of this no action is available.

(Also read my post about the Ignore Virus Targeting, if you enable that then it is likely to detect these signatures in memory.)

Could you please tell me where to go to that thread? Where can I find Ignore Virus Targeting?

Thanks.

It is in this topic Reply #2 and Tech’s post.

Sorry… I did not notice David has already answered that…

Thanks, I must be overlook that last night. It is unchecked.
