access to other AV websites

Hi all, It’s not possible anymore to reach some websites like bitdefender, kaspersky, nod32. I cannot install spybot. I made a full AV scan with avast. Nothing is detected. I also used the trinity cd. Nothing is detected. And finally form time to time my browser “scan” my files and says that I’m infected.
Any help is welcome

Try a boot time scan with avast.Also try and download the 3 programs below.update and scan with Malwarebytes,Superantispyware, and fix what is found.Then copy and paste the logs.Finally scan with Hijack this, Do not fix anything with this program but copy and past the log it produces

Read the instructions, download and burn (maybe from another computer), finally use one of this rescue CD’s:

  1. Avira
  2. Kaspersky
  3. BitDefender
  4. F-Secure

HOSTS file redirect a common malware tactic to block AV sites making it difficult to remove malware - 127.0.0.1 check your HOSTS file using notepad or a text editor of your choice, C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or do a search for HOSTS to find it if not there.

Once open you are looking for entries with avast.com on the line, you may well see other AV sites, post the contents of the hosts file. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_file
