Accessing Simple user interface

The sig. says it all - a non-tech old fart :slight_smile:

Is there an easier way to access the Simple User Interface without having to go through All programs> Avast Antivirus>avast antivirus, then waiting for the memory thingy to go through its routine?

Create a shortcut on your desktop to

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashsimpl.exe

Use the above path to get to the folder Avast4, click on it. Locate in the right hand panel the file highlighted in red.

Right click on the file, highlight “Send To” select “Desktop (create shortcut)”

Then you can use the shortcut on your desktop.
