Accessing the virus chest

To access the Avast! virus chest do the following:

  1. Open the Avast user interface.

  2. Select “Overview” from the top of the left hand pane.

  3. Right-click on one of the four shortcuts (i.e., “Quickscan”, “Free Mobile Security”, etc.).

  4. Left-click on “Virus Chest”.

  5. Click on the newly created shortcut to access the virus chest.

Seriously!?! :o

Or go to the scan tab → scan for viruses and it will be at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the info. Kind of like playing a game of “find the hidden treasure chest”, albeit in actuality it’s a chest full of viruses. :slight_smile:

Or, you could right-click on one of the buttons on the OVERVIEW screen, and choose Virus Chest. From then on it’s just one click away…
