Account login issues

I can log into my account on the Avast website without any problems. However, when I try to use the same email address/password in Avast Internet Security, I get told that the email address or password is not correct. What am I doing wrong?

You’re not the only one. Updating/changing my password did not help.

How strange it maybe sounds, try a repair of Avast :

  1. Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs - Avast - Change.
  2. Repair.
  3. Follow the instructions.
  4. Reboot.
