hey all, i’m new at this viris stuff but i ran the scanner and got a virus but when i tried to fix it i keept getting acess denided. someone please tell me what to do. i also got errors in dll files are these ok to delete?

Are you using Windows XP?
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning
Select for scanning archives.
Boot.
Access denied means, generally, that the file is in use by another process (program) and cannot be repaired/cleaned/moved/handled by avast!
hey all, its me again, let me ask my question in a different way. i did read the manual and the help but i’m still not for shure about deleting the system files. i’m not understanding something here, wont it mess up the system if i trash these files? mispie
Please run a boottime scan as Technical suggested (that is, if you have XP/2k/2k3)

start Avast > Menu > Schedule boot scan
