After een acpi.sys error following an avast! virus definition update, I looked through event viewer and found LoadPerf Error ID 3012.
I went to commandprompt and gave in " lodctr /r " as a command. Them I read that it was freshly made with the backup-archive of the program.
Mission accomplished…see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490926.aspx

Hi iros9555,
Acpi.sys. “Slip of the keyboard” :-[, started to get dark, so I lit another candle. Acpi stands for “Automatic Configuration Power Interface” and is a driver which will attempt to throttle CPU usage when temperatures get to high (and other power management operations) - CPU 55 C HD1 36 C - if the sensor delivering this right to my Speedfan tool readings…Maybe I need the household fan to blow air into the case again?
But as to the solution I have chosen I thought more of a registry problem and acted accordingly. My heat sink is being serviced every few months.
