Hi,
I just noticed that I am only running Avast free antivirus. I have a licence for the paid version every time a try to activate it with file, typing in the code and using log in it says that it works but then reverts back to the free licence.
I have tried numerous times to activate I have tried updating Avast and uninstalling twice.
Any help suggestions please?
Did you buy from Avast directly or from a reseller…?

generate support package via https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Submit-support-file and send me the ID
I can go through the logs and find out whats not working for you.

Either way,
Have you tried logging in to your Avast account via https://my.avast.com/en-us/
After logging in there, On the lower right side you’ll see “My Licenses”
Click there and on that page you can see all of your subscription with Avast.
Also you can download a License file in there.
Try to download the License File and activate your avast program with that said file.

Please enter your license into the product again.
Your paid license was switched to free on 22.6. for some reason.
We are investigating what was the cause, so we can prevent it from happening again.
