Hello all
I use Avast long ago, but today for the first time, I’ve got a problem with it, and I can’t solve it, I need help.
My Avast is registed, but desactived, and it say that it’s because it isn’t connected to the avast account. So, I did an account in the Avast’s site but when I put the password in his place and entered it, the program say “thank you for your connection, do you want to visit the Avast site?” but the program DON’T ACTIVATE! and he say that I’m still disconnected of my Avast account.
I already tried to reinstall Avast with no succes.
Help me, please, I don’t know what to do…
PS: sorry for my english, it isn’t my language 
An avast account isnt needed for activation of avast, it’s more just for keeping an eye on things if you have several accounts ( installs ) just complete the registration via maintanence.
What was you previous AV and how did you remove it? you’ll fine many removal tools here http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/ which you can run to clean up any remnants of old AV’s you have used in the past.
After running the removal tools you should reboot then try a repair of avast via control panel ( click avast as to uninstall then scroll down to repair ) reboot when completed, if avast is still not starting for you then i suggest a clean install, follow the instruction here http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility for removing avast then reboot and reinstall.
