WHAT HAPPENS … has not been re-UPDATE?

You shouldn’t have to download the VPS complete if that is what you are trying to do.

Right click the avast ‘a’ icon, select about avast! - This should show what version of the VPS is on your system, the latest is 081031-0.

You can manually update from within the program, right click the avast ‘a’ icon, select Updating, iAVS Update. Are you able to do that ?

What do you mean? That page is for off-line updates and it’s updated each VPS (virus database) is released.
