Has anybody seen this before? and do you know of a remedy, off hand I’m thinking it’s a port or firewall issue. Suggestions?
For some reason, there are machines that I have deployed Avast on but the status shows that it is not installed even though I am able to scan and see the results of the scan. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

Try looking in the workstation’s System Properties then go into the Computer Name tab. Click the bottom button named “Change…” and make sure that the domain and/or workgroup are correct.
I recently had a problem similar and it was because the Workgroup on the System Settings was incorrect.
