ADNM and Avast Admnistrattion Console

Hey All,

I’m fairly new here so i hope i’m not asking some stupid question here

at the moment i have a demo license to test either avast business is what we are looking for in our company
we are a small company with +/- 20 servers and +/- 60 clients computers. We are looking for a antivirus solution which is easy to manage and deploy (and undeploy)

what i wonder is what is the difference between ADNM and Avast Administration console? I m quite confuse between those two now at the moment.

I have avast administration console (avast business) installed on a test server and try to deploy it, but the custom setting for the client group seems not being deploy, that s why i wonder if i need to user ADNM instead of avast adminsitration console

Any help and explaination is greatly appreciated

ADNM is the old version of ADNM but has some more options to use.
the installed client from ADNM is the 4.8 engine, which as you may have noticed is already superseded by the latest engine v6 which is given with SBC

if you want to use avast version 6 for the managed you must use SBC the report and every things is simple, if you need more report and no problem if running with avast version 4.8 you can use ADNM.

for me ADNM is much better and stable than SBC

Hi,
ADNM is old products but stable :). SBC is easier for manage( less tasks) and deployment.
Try both products.
