Please help us, we have successfully deployed netclient to one of our laptops. However, when we can’t seem to push avast av updates via ADNM to our netclient.
Plese see the attached error. . It gives me an error of 0x7FFF0021.
I make a research about that error and they told that it means “NOT ENOUGH LICENSES”.
we bought 100 avast professional, 2 avast server , and 327 lotus plugin. we have a valid license.dat file.
attached also is the netclient screenshot, which we successfully deployed
I am new to ADNM, but encountered this error on a number of workstations that refused to acknowledge the NetClient Installation in the ADNM Console on my first install recently. After digging though the forum I found I had overlooked an important paragraph in the manual - I am not sure it applies here, but feel it is worth pasting just in case…
My Note:-
After discovery, ensure you REMOVE all computers that are NOT having the client installed/deployed.
ADNM Manual Note:-
Computer with a key symbol. This icon indicates that the number of licenses in your license file is not sufficient. That is, the Catalog contains larger
number of computers than the ADNM license permits. The AMS chooses the excess machines randomly but prefers those that don’t have any managed product
installed or have not yet communicated with the server, i.e., those that would be otherwise grayed-out.
Deployment/Installation/Management of computers in the Catalog with a key will not be possible
Summary - the above circumstance will cause the error you have listed - although I am not saying that this is your issue of course
