ADNM does not see freshly installed clients

Hello,

I set up ADNM and I have to clients working w/o problems (1 XP, 1 W2K). A second W2K client makes problems. Push installation did work but afterwards no chance to see the computer green in the list. It remains to show the key symbol.

The services are running and the GUI also works on the client.

So, from the error code it seems sth like “not enough licenses”. Is the evaluation version limited in no of clients?

I also have the same error on the clients:

I have 800 licenses, currently using 532 of them, and 120 clients have the key icon with the vps version, engine version, and operating system listed as .

I should add that I don’t think it’s a true license problem as I was able to install on another machine wíthout problems later on.

So, the computer icon has the key symbol?
How many computers there are in the Computer Catalog? And how many licenses does your license file permit? (to view the license file, use the AMS Maintenance Tool).

computer has key symbol, correct.
DEMO license (1 server, 300 clients).

However i suppose it’s sth special to this computer as I was able to install other ones w/o problems.

I’m having a similar problem: uninstalled Norton rubbish, rebooted, deployed Avast, installation successful, rebooted - clients still aren’t accessible from ADMC. I’m currently licensed for 5 products according to the Licence manager (although that’s incorrect, but I need to check on our purchase), but only 3 machines are showing up as available in the Catalogue (without keys next to them). I’ve installed it on 5 machines in total.

Ok, I just reinstalled our new licence file, and everything has now come up correctly. However, using the old licence file (which hadn’t expired), the problem was as outlined. Still, it’s working now for me, no need to worry.

Did you restart the AMS service after installing your new license file? (as suggested by the AMS Maintenance Tool).
