How can I update ADNM to deploy the last version of Avast NetClient?
It actually install correctly Netclient on PC around my LAN but it is a old version.
Any idea ?
Old version of engine or VPS?
See ADNM mirror log, if mirror works fine
update ADNM first
go into the configuration screen of the ADNM server and click ADD/REMOVE SOFTWARE
then “remove” ADNM. In the new screen you have the choice to update or remove… obviously choose UPDATE 
if this all is done right then you have to create an update task inside ADNM to force deploy the new software to the clients
The VPS is uptodate. But it seems strange that last version avialble is Sept2009 for Netclient and ADNM ?
Does anyone know wich is the last prog version for Netclient and ADNM ?
i checked in my ADNM MIRROR LOG (adnm → view → show ams mirror status) and you can see the versions on my server in the screenshot
I made it on my Windows 2008 server, its running MS SQL 2008, which also hosts the ADNM database.
(i couldn’t post this extra screenshot anymore due to size limits)
i also included a screenshot from a client with version number. Its the most up to date engine possible for net clients as far as i know.
i guess its a bug in the system…
the latest version number is from February as you can see in the AMS logs, as you can see in below screenshot the version number matches the newest
version on the AMS server but the publish date is showing September instead of February
OK, thanks you I have exactly the same version. But It seems strange no to have available a more recently up dated version for Netclient engine.
the ADNM version is not as regularly updated as the primairy engine of the free/home product.
Next to that; the avast team is very busy at this moment with the development of the successor of ADNM named Small Business Console.
It has more priority now i guess then updating the old version since that will be dismissed.
