Im new to Avast and require some urgent help. I have managed to use the deployment task to deploy the Avast! agents to my servers. I have checked the servers and the agent is installed.
I have a total of 11 servers (licensed for 11 servers also) each server has the agent installed. However in ADNM, the icon for all but 3 servers is grey, i clicked on these servers and under ADMN agent it states “no supported products are installed”.
I have uninstalled the agents, rediscovered the servers and re deployed the agents and still the same thing. ???
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Did you uninstalled Netserver with aswcleaner?
If no, I recommend try it again i.e. uninstall via Add/remove programs, than run aswcleaner. When possible, run aswcleaner after boot server into safe mode. After it, check registry for rest of Avast item.
Prior all these steps, be sure, that Netserver agent can communicate with AMS server. See Windows firewall setting, if present any…
I cannot write more, without any info about your infrastructure…
I have been pulling my hair out regarding this. I have uninstalled the agent using awsclear one both my domain controllers, used ADNM to push the agent back out and it working fine now on both DCs.
But i still have the same issue on 5 other servers, i have used awsclear, used ADNM to install the agent but still the machine is grey in ADNM.
I have also tried to install the agent using the MSI package ADNM created but still no luck,
Can Martin Kvid please help me with the same issue? All the client machines are grey, but the deployment worked fine… Where do I get the magical “aswChAms.exe utility”?
I also used the “aswChAms.exe utility” to solve the “grayed NetClients problem” in some machines i’ve installed remotely (by instalation package).
But they only appeared green in the AMS when i did the command with the IP_Address_of_AMS.
e.g → aswChAms IP_Address_of_AMS
So, in the instalation package configuration, I put the IP_Address_of_AMS instead the Name_of_AMS. All of then that was installed after this changes worked properly.
